Electronic Waste Collection of e-Waste generated by CFAES and affiliated departments

When: The last WEDNESDAY of each month from 1-2 pm

Where: 2727 Selby Rd (Old ATI Dairy Barn) near Compost Research Building

How: Bring all acceptable items to the sliding barn door and we will help unload them

Acceptable items include: Keyboards, computer mice, cameras, zip drives, printers, cables, electronic lab equipment, copy machines, batteries*, used bulbs**, etc

Items NOT accepted: University IT equipment - Take to the IT Service Desk for proper data removal. Call 614-514-4848 or submit a service requestLarge appliances - submit work order to Facilities Services for these. 

*Dry Cell Batteris 9 volts and UNDER do not need to have the terminals taped and can be combined in the same container. NOTICE: Dry Cell Batteries OVER 9 volts MUST have terminals taped, as well as ALL Lithium batteries and must be separate from other types of batteries. Wet cell batteries (car type batteries) will NOT be accepted. Those can be recycled at the Physical Plant garage.

**All bulbs must be in taped boxes. If you need a large box for fluorescent tube lights please contact Cassie to request a box.
