CFAES Wooster Campus Community
Our past few winters have been mild, and our luck may have caught up with us this year. Despite the cold, snow and ice, CFAES Wooster continues to generate success and impact for research, for our partnerships and for our students. A special Thank You to our grounds crew for keeping our sidewalks and parking lots clear. You can read more about their efforts in this newsletter with an update from Facilities and Operations. We are planning several upgrades and changes at CFAES Wooster, including a project that will update campus signage through partnerships with the City of Wooster and the Ohio Department of Transportation. I am excited to see construction beginning on our soccer field along Gossard Dr.
We are looking forward to several campus events this spring. Our annual Celebration of Nations will be on February 26, and the Celebration of Students Wooster Carnival will be on March 3 from 5-7. This spring, Associate Dean and Director Andy Michel will be visiting departments to discuss campus updates and to provide opportunities for faculty, staff and students to ask questions. We are hosting several events from FFA Career Development Events, Judging Contests, Student Recognitions, Commencement, Field Days, and more. If you see people wandering around campus, please offer a welcoming smile. While we will not be part of a total solar eclipse this year, our campus will be busy!
