Operations Update:
While we continue into the spring semester, we wanted to express our thanks to those who provided coverage for our team during the academic winter recess, and team members who did great work during the recent winter weather event.

Winter Recess: While many of us were off during the academic winter recess, there was a great group of our operations team who were on campus to make sure every area of Wooster continued to run smoothly. These folks were constantly checking buildings across campus, making sure our greenhouses and barns stayed operational, and patrolled even on the coldest days, among the many other duties they took care of during this break. Thank you to those from Facilities Operations, Farm Operations, Greenhouse Operations, Safety, and Animal Operations who kept our operations running smoothly!

Recent Snow Event: Thank you as well to the grounds crew, farm operations team, and community partners, for their diligent work over the past few weeks when we received record-breaking amounts of snow. Ohio State may have shut down the Wooster campus for a few days, but these groups were hard at work clearing 11.5 acres of parking lots; 5.4 miles of campus streets, roadways, and drives; and almost a mile of sidewalk cleared by hand.
