Tell us about your family/pets: I’m from Mercer County, Ohio where I grew up on my family’s beef production farm. I am the youngest of four kids, with three older siblings who taught me a lot about determination and leadership. Growing up, my family worked together during farm chores and operations.
Being raised in agriculture has shaped a huge part of my life and who I am. From an early age, I learned the importance of the agriculture industry, and everything involved. Growing up on the farm is what inspired me to major in Agriscience Education at The Ohio State University. I’ve seen firsthand how agriculture impacts lives, and I want to share that with the next generation.

Why did you choose OSU and CFAES Wooster as your collegiate choice?
I chose OSU CFAES Wooster because it was the perfect choice for me. From the first time I step foot on campus, I felt welcomed and seen as a student. Even though Wooster is a smaller Campus, it makes up for it by allowing me to make long-lasting friendships and meaningful connections with my professors. I learned very quickly that the professors on OSU- CFAES Wooster campus were here to help me achieve my goals and make me the best version of myself. Furthermore, the friendships I have created with individuals within and outside of my major are priceless
